Police reported no serious injuries in a crash that had a car slam into a building in Newark's Central Ward this afternoon.
Authorities said at approximately 3 p.m., emergency responders rushed to King Fish Market located in the 600 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard to investigate reports of a crash.
According to police, units arrived and found the driver of a car lost control while parking and crashed in through the front entrance of the building.
Police say the driver of the car managed to escape severe injuries and no one inside the store was injured.
Firefighters arrived at the scene to assist in getting the vehicle out of the store while police were looking into what caused the crash.
