Car Crashes into Construction Equipment Killing Driver in Camden County

UPDATE: Two dead after vehicle struck steam roller. 

Camden County authorities are looking into the cause of a crash that killed a person in Voorhees Township Friday night. 

A preliminary investigation indicated that at approximately 9:30 p.m., police responded to reports of a crash with injuries near the intersection of NJ-73 and Kresson Road. 

Emergency responders arrived and found a vehicle fully engulfed in flames after crashing into construction equipment at that location. 

The driver and one other person was instantly killed and the individual operating the construction equipment suffered severe injuries. 

The Camden County Prosecutor's Office was notified of the collision.
