Police in East Orange are investigating a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night that resulted in one of the cars striking the side of a building.
The collision occurred shortly before 8:40 p.m. in the area of 172 William Street.
When emergency responders arrived, they found both vehicles heavily damaged, with one car having crashed into the exterior of a nearby building.
According to authorities, the building did not sustain major structural damage.
EMS personnel treated occupants at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under active investigation, and no additional information has been released at this time.
