New Jersey State Police are currently investigating an early morning crash in Passaic County that resulted in a camper overturning on Interstate 80.The incident occurred in the eastbound lanes near mile marker 58.2 in Paterson around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
Upon arrival, troopers found the camper, which was being towed by a pickup truck, flipped over and blocked all lanes of the roadway.
The vehicle had sustained significant damage after colliding with a jersey barrier.
Fortunately, initial reports indicate that there were no serious injuries despite the severity of the accident.
Authorities confirmed that the collision did not involve any other vehicles.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Motorists on the highway experienced some delays and were advised to seek alternative routes during the cleanup and investigation process.
