Camden County Man Charged with Possession of Explicit Images of Minors

Camden County

Camden County authorities charged Mr. William Clark, 47, of Gloucester City, with Possession of Explicit Images of Minors according to Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Gloucester City Police Chief Brian Morrell.

Authorities say on April 24, 2019, detectives from the High-Tech Crimes Unit (HTCU) of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Members of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) – Cherry Hill Office executed a search warrant for William Clark’s residence in the 1000 block of Market Street in Gloucester City.

An on-site preview of one of Clark’s devices led to the charge filed against him. Authorities located numerous digital devices in the home that were taken to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office’s HTCU Forensic Lab to be analyzed.

William Clark, who is currently working for a heating and air condition company, was transported to the Gloucester City Police Department where he was processed and released with a future court date.

The Gloucester City Police Department, Camden County Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team (SERT), and a Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Electronic Storage Detection K9 dog assisted the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office HTCU Detectives and HSI Cherry Hill on this case.

The investigation is ongoing.

All persons charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
