Authorities in Newark are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a business burglary that occurred on Tuesday.
Police said at approximately 7 a.m., officers responded to J & M Multiservices, located at 8 Bloomfield Avenue, on a burglary call.
The front gate of the business had been forced open during the overnight hours and cash and personal items were stolen from the establishment according to police.
A light-skinned male, who is balding and wearing a shirt bearing a Cadillac emblem, is shown at the front gate of the business.
While police are actively searching for this suspect, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from city streets.
This investigation is ongoing.
