Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Edgewater Park Township Police Department Chief Brett Evans announced that detectives from their agencies are conducting a homicide investigation Wednesday night in the 200 block of Ivy Road in Edgewater Park Township.
The preliminary investigation revealed that an adult male and an adult female were shot while sitting inside a vehicle just before 6:30 p.m.
The male was pronounced dead at the scene, and the female was transported to Cooper University Medical Center in Camden.
Her condition is unavailable at this time. There were no other occupants inside the vehicle.
The names of the victims are being withheld at this time.
No arrests have been made.
