Burglary Suspect Wanted in Newark for Stealing Multiple Items from Victim's Garage

Authorities in Newark request the public’s help with identifying the suspect who stole two ladders from a neighborhood restaurant on December 28, 2023, and several items from a victim’s garage on December 30, 2023.AdNewark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said the restaurant burglary occurred at approximately 11:40 p.m. at Kings Family Restaurant, located in the 300 block of Lyons Avenue.

The suspect, a Hispanic male with a stocky build, was captured on surveillance video at approximately 11:40 p.m., taking the ladders from the rear of the business, officials stated.

Pic Officials said that known to frequent Lyons Avenue, the suspect, who has peppered colored hair and a goatee, has also been linked to another burglary two days later on December 30, 2023.

He was captured on surveillance video stealing a snow blower, a cooler, and a weed wacker from a victim’s garage in the 100 block of Hobson Street, officials say.
