Police in Jersey City are on the search for the suspect who fired bullets in a neighborhood that struck a house in the city on Saturday morning.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to the 500 block of Academy Street to investigate reports of shots fired that occurred at approximately 3:30 a.m.
Officers arrived at the scene found evidence that a shooting occurred, but after a search of the area, units did not find injured victims.
Police canvassing the scene located a house with several bullet holes according to officials.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
