Newark Police are looking for a suspect wanted for a shooting that caused property damage in a section of the city Wednesday.
Gunfire rang out in the vicinity of 71 South 12th Street shortly before midnight, prompting a police investigation.
Upon arrival, officers found several shell casings but a search for the neighborhood indicated no victims.
As police continued to check the area, they found a house and car with bullet holes but no one inside was injured.
Police counted about a dozen shell casings.
The suspect fled the scene and is at large.
