Authorities in Passaic taped off a portion of a neighborhood while they investigated a shots fired incident that caused property damage early Saturday morning.
According to police, authorities were notified of a vehicle struck by bullets in the area of Hamilton Avenue and Jefferson Street just before 3 a.m.
Police believe that the shooting occurred when the occupants of the vehicle were fired upon in the 100 block of Passaic Street shortly before police stopped the car.
There were no physical injuries reported.
The incident remains under investigation.
