There were no injuries reported in a shots-fired incident that occurred in a Linden neighborhood on Tuesday night.
According to a preliminary investigation, about a dozen rounds of gunfire rang out in the 800 block Bower Street sending police to the scene to investigate around 8:55 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found several shell casings and a house struck by a bullet at that location.
A search of the residence and the surrounding area indicated no injuries, according to officials.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
