Brick Thrown at Roselle Mayor's Home

Police are investigating reports that bricks were thrown overnight at the homes of Mayor Christine Dansereau and Sylvia Turnage, a former borough councilwoman.

According to reports, sometime after 12:30 a.m., a brick was thrown at the mayor's home, striking a shutter.

Dansereau reportedly didn't notice the damage until Thursday afternoon when the brick was discovered in her front yard.

In Turnage's incident, a brick was reportedly thrown sometime after 4 a.m, shattering her front window.

Both incidents remain under investigation at this time.

According to the mayor, she believes the incidents are related and politically motivated.
