Middlesex County firefighters discovered a vehicle partially submerged in a pond in Piscataway on Tuesday.
The early morning discovery had emergency responders on the Stelton Road and Lakeview Avenue side of New Market Pond around 5:45 a.m.
Crews arrived and entered the vehicle and discovered two unconscious and unresponsive individuals.
Preliminary reports say an adult and a child were recovered.
Police are trying to determine how the vehicle ended up in the body of water.
The incident is under investigation.
