Lakewood Township Township Police and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office are on the scene of a shooting with two victims killed at an apartment complex at this time.
Authorities have not released official information on the incident, but according to preliminary information at the scene, just before 7 a.m., officers responded to 780 River Avenue to investigate reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, a video from a Lakewood news source showed officers tasing a shirtless man who is believed to be the suspect.
The video showed a male with a gun in his hand outside the complex.
Two victims were found suffering multiple gunshot wounds at the apartment complex.
