Police are on the scene investigating shots fired with at least one person dead in Trenton at this time.
Gunfire rang out after 5 p.m. in the area of North Hermitage Avenue and Boudinot sending police and EMS to the scene where they found at least two people shot at that location.
The victims were transported to the hospital where a female victim was pronounced dead a short time later.
Authorities believe that the incident is the result of a drive-by shooting, but they are investigating the incident.
A third person reportedly suffered a non-life threatening injury.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
