BREAKING: Three Victims Found Shot Inside Newark South Ward Store; One Hospital Walk-in

Police in Newark are on the scene of a mass shooting with four victims struck by gunfire at a location in the city's South Ward. 

According to police, at approximately 4:15 p.m., shooters occupying a vehicle fired multiple rounds in the area of 378 Chancellor Avenue.   

When officers arrived, they checked a store and found three gunshot victims inside the establishment. 

Police officials have requested assistance from officers from around the city to help with the investigation. 

Two of the three injured arereirted as non-life threatening at this time.  There is a confirmed fourth victim who walked into Beth Israel Hospital suffering a bullet wound in his arm. 

Police say the suspects were firing shots from the sunroof of a vehicle. A total of 22 shell casings have been recovered so far. 

They fled the scene towards Hillside and remain at large.
