BREAKING: Three-Alarm Fire Tears Through Multiple Row Homes in Trenton

Trenton

Firefighters from around Mercer County are on the scene assisting the Trenton Fire Department battle a multi-alarm fire that's ripping through several homes in the city at this time.

Preliminary reports from the scene indicated that at approximately 3:30 a.m., firefighters were called to 228 Rusling Street to investigate reports of a fire with trapped occupants.

Upon arrival, crews struck a second then a third alarm for manpower as heavy flames began to engulf several two-story homes at that location.

Fire officials requested several EMS units to arrive for possible injuries.

Several lines were stretched while firefighters battled massive flames pouring from the row of homes in an attempt to bring the fire under control.

As of 4:06 a.m., there were no official reports of injuries as firefighters worked to gain entry into the burning residences where trapped residents have been reported.
