There are injuries reported in a fire that is ripping through a house in Rahway at this time.
According to preliminary reports, firefighters raced to the scene of a two-alarm fire that ignited inside a house in the 400 block of Washington Street at around 6:11 pm.
Crews arrived to find thick smoke and flames coming from a large two and a half story wood framed house at that location.
Crews were able to beat down flames and make their way into the house where at least one injured person was found according to reports.
The condition of the victim has not been released at this time.
AS of 6:32 a.m., firefighters have not placed the blaze under control.
