BREAKING POHATCONG NJ: Emergency Responders are on the scene of an incident where a male victim was attacked by a bear in the 300 block of County Road 627 a short time ago.
The attack happened shortly before 9 a.m. when emergency crews were called to the scene for a seriously injured man according to reports.
Arriving crews located the victim suffering serious laceration injuries to the arm and hand with severe blood lost reports said.
According to the victim, the 400-500 pound bear came out of the woods and began to maul him before it ran back into the woods.
The man is being rushed to the hospital at this time while fish and wildlife officials are heading to the scene.
