BREAKING PATERSON NJ: Separate Shootings Leave Four Shot with One Dead in Paterson
The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office are on two shooting sheeting scene where four people have been struck by gunfire with one of the victims dead at this time.
Details regarding both shootings are pending information provided by the prosecutor's office, but according to preliminary reports, multiple rounds of gunfire erupted in the 80's block of Temple Street at approximately 4 p.m. where officers arrived at the scene and found two people shot.
Police found a male victim suffering several bullet wounds and was pronounced dead a short time later. According to police, the second victim was found with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg.
Authorities are also investigating a double shooting that occurred at approximately 4:40 p.m. in the 200 block of Rosa Parks Boulevard where officers arrived at the scene and found two victims shot at that location.
Police say both of the victims' injuries are reported as non-life threatening and are being treated at St. Joseph's Hospital.
The motives for both incidents remain under investigation at this time.
