There are non-life threatening injuries reported for a shooting that has two people down at this time in Newark.
Gunfire erupted in the area of Muhammad Ali and Jeliff avenues around 8:30 am sending a large police presence to the scene where officers located two teens struck by gunfire.
There is a large crime scene surrounding the Harold Wilson School with both victims being rushed to University Hospital.
The victims are teenagers, with one shot to the leg while the other is suffering a gunshot wound to the buttocks according to authorities.
