This breaking news is coming in from the city’s West Ward in the 400 block of South Orange Avenue where police are on the scene with two victim shot at this time.
According to police, gunfire rang out just outside of West Side High School at around 9:22 p.m. where officers found a male victim shot in the ribs at that location.
Just up the block, police canvassing the area found a male suffering a bullet wound in his back.
Both victims are reportedly in serious condition at this time.
Police have a crime scene established and an active investigation underway.
This is the -about- the fourth person shot in less than an hour in Newark.
UPDATE 10:14PM 13-Year Old Shot in the leg and 18-Year-Old shot in the Torso. Both are stable.
Avoid the area for the investigation.
