BREAKING NEWARK NJ: Severe Injuries Reported for Children Involved in Overtunrned Car Crash in Newark

There are severe injuries reported for two children who were injured in a car crash that occurred on a street in Newark's North Ward Wednesday morning.

According to preliminary reports, the crash happened just outside of The Newark School Stadium that's located on Bloomfield Avenue on the Roseville Avenue side.

Witnesses told RLS Metro Breaking News that the crash happened at approximately 10:25 a.m. when two cars collided at the intersection causing one of the vehicles to overturn trapping occupants.

According to witnesses several good Samaritans jumped into action and extricated, then carried an adult female and a child from one of the vehicles.

Two children, 8 and 9-year-olds, were observed bleeding from the head after suffering serious injuries according to reports.

All of the injured were transported to University Hospital where doctors began treatment.
