BREAKING NEWARK NJ: Regional High Speed Pursuit has Two in Custody in Newark

BREAKING EAST ORANGE NJ: Suspects occupying a vehicle that refused to stop for NJ State Police on Rt. 78 West in Newark has sped their way down the highway touching off on Rt. 24, Rt. 287, then Eastbound on Rt. 280 where that vehicle is now in East Orange on Freeway Drive East.

There were several police agencies involved. This is how we tracked it.

UPDATE 10:01 p.m. Now in the area of Evergreen Place

UPDATE 10:01 p.m. Tremont and North Munn suspects rammed two vehicles

UPDATE 10:06 p.m. Orange Police are assisting

UPDATE 10:07 p.m. Newark Police are reportedly involved.

UPDATE 10:08 p.m. Vehicle on 280 East near Rt. 21

UPDATE 10:10 p.m. Vehicle on MLK and James near Hospital

UPDATE 10:15 p.m. Vehicle is somewhere in the South Ward

UPDATE 10:16 p.m. Wanted for Aggravated Assault on a State Police Officer and CDS

UPDATE 10:18 p.m. Back on Rt. 78 Eastbound

UPDATE 10:21 p.m. In Downtown Newark Broad Street

UPDATE 10:22 p.m. Vehicle is Northbound on Rt. 21

UPDATE 10:28 p.m. Bail out, foot pursuit. Police have two in custody on Broad and Miller

There were no serious injuries reported.
