Newark Brick City Lions Pop Warner Pee-Wee Division Wins National Championship in Orlando Florida

National Pop Warner officials are reporting that the Newark Brick City Lions football program has won a national championship earlier this afternoon.

In the 11 a.m. contest, The Brick City Lions Pee-Wee Division of Newark took on Rancho Cucamonga Cougars of California and easily handed them a 26-8 loss in front over 2000 spectators at Disney World in Orlando Florida.

The Newark, NJ team arrived in Florida earlier in the week and defeated Florida Creek Outlaws in the 1st round 40-32, then handed Raleigh North Carolina Bulldogs a 29-0 defeat before winning in the Disney Orlando Superbowl today -Friday-.

The Brick City Lions are 2018 Pop Warner Football National Champions.
