BREAKING NEWARK NJ: Multiple Injuries Reported in Bus Crash at Newark International Airport

There are non-life threatening injuries reported for multiple victims who were on-board a bus that crashed at Newark International airport early Friday morning.

According to officials, the crash happened just before 5:25 a.m. between terminals A and C where police closed all lanes after the driver of an employee bus somehow lost control and crashed into a guard rail at that location.

Multiple EMS units were called to the scene to some of the 29 passengers who were on the bus. There is NO access to terminal B at this time.

Update:

”At approximately 5:30 am, an airport employee shuttle bus was headed to Terminal B, Level 2 when the bus struck a concrete divider. More than a dozen non-life threatening injuries are reported. The investigation is still ongoing.

No negative impact on airport operations, traffic is being diverted around this area, but the overall impact is minimal. PA and EMS personnel are on scene.

Port Authority Police will handle the investigation”.
