Newark authorities are on the scene of an incident where a woman fell from the roof of a building in Newark’s Central Ward this afternoon.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the 90’s block of Spruce Street at approximately 2 p.m. to investigate reports of an injured woman.
Upon their arrival, they requested EMS to rush to the scene after they found the severely injured woman lying on the concrete.
The woman was rushed to University Hospital where she remains critical according to reports.
Police are trying to determine if the woman accidentally fell or if she was pushed by someone.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
