Emergency responders are on the scene of a crash with serious injuries reported on a highway in Newark at this time.
According to preliminary reports, the collision happened just at the border of Harrison and Newark -Route 21 and Bridge Street- at approximately 4:55 p.m.
Police and EMS arrived to find a car and small truck involved in a nasty collision that trapped occupants.
Police say at least one of the trapped victim suffered life-threatening injuries. Two other victims were rushed to University Hospital.
Expect massive delays and detours in the area.
