Firefighters are on the scene of a raging fire that's tearing through an apartment complex in Lodi at this time.
According to preliminary reports from the scene, heavy fire engulfed the upper floors and room of a building located at 124 Home Place sending firefighters from several municipalities to the scene where first arriving crew members found fire shooting from the roof of the apartment building shortly before 6:20 am.
Intense flames kept firefighters from immediately entering the structure to check for trapped on injured occupants according to reports.
Crews conducted an exterior surround and drown operation until they could knock down some of the visible fire seen ripping through the roof.
As of 6:45 a.m., there were no injuries reported and the cause is under investigation.
