There is an active investigation underway into a shots-fired incident that connected on three people at a location in Jersey City this evening.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the vicinity of Danforth and Rose avenues to investigate reports of shots fired at approximately 9:35 p.m.
When police arrived, they found three victims suffering bullet wounds at that location.
Police say the victims were transported to Jersey Medical Center for treatment at this time. The extent of their injuries could not be confirmed.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation. No arrests have been made.
UPDATE 10:45PM : A fourth (4) gunshot victim has been located.
