Firefighters battled a raging multi-alarm fire that tore through a house in Jersey City on Friday morning.
Heavy fire ripped through the attic of a two and a half story house located in the 20's block of Gates Avenue at around 10:30 a.m.
Crews arrived to find thing black smoke billowing from the window of the structure with fire tearing engulfing the entire homes.
Firefighters were able to make entry into the home to search for trapped or injured occupants, but there were no injuries immediately reported.
The fire was placed under control in less than an hour with the cause under investigation according to officials.
