There is an active crime scene established and investigation hats being lead by the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office in a neighborhood in Irvington Township as detective attempted to to determine the motive behind a shooting that left a man dead this afternoon.
We are awaiting an official report from the prosecutor’s office but according to preliminary reports, there is one confirmed fatality of an adult male on Park Place from an apparent shots fired incident that occurred before 2:30 p.m.
The identity of the man had not been released nor done know if he died at the scene or at the hospital.
As soon as we hear from the Essex County Prosecutor's Office, we will share with you but now, it is safe for us to say avoid the area for the police investigation.
