BREAKING: Hundreds of Hudson County Police Officers Disperse Disorderly Crowds at Red Bull Arena in Harrison

More than 200 officers from around Hudson County, NJ State Police, NJ Transit, and Port Authority broke up several massive brawls at Red Bull Arena throughout the evening. 

Officials said four international teams that reportedly rented the stadium drew over 20,000 people to the event that began at 4:30 p.m.

Spectators engaged in vicious fights that sent about 12 people to the hospital suffering stab wounds. 

Police showed extra restraint when dealing with raucous crowds that exited the arena then began to throw rocks and bottles at officers. 

RLS Media observed several officers being treated for minor injuries and cuts.  

At approximately 7:25 p.m., courageous officers with shields and protective give were able to disperse the crowd without brute force.
