Police are on the scene of shots fired with injuries reported inside the Jersey Gardens Mall at this time.
According to preliminary reports, it happened near the food court at around 8:06 p.m. loud popping noises sent thousands of panicking shoppers running for their lives.
There was one person suffering injuries inside the Tommy Hilfiger store but police are trying to determine if the victim's injury is a gunshot wound.
The mall is being evacuated and there is a crime scene developed.

UPDATE: There is (1) one confirmed non-life threatening injury but police are attempting to determine if the injury was caused by gunfire. There is an active and ongoing investigation.
UPDATE 9:17 This is a confirmed gunshot injury for (1) one male victim. No other severe injuries reported at this time.
