According to initial reports from the scene, police were called to the NJ Turnpike ramp shortly before 4 a.m. for a possible domestic dispute in progress.
Crews arrived to find a male victim unconscious and unresponsive after suffering a stab injury at that location.
Medics pronounced the man dead at the scene according to reports.
A woman was detained and taken away from the scene.
The northbound ramp to exit 12 is closed for the investigation.
