BREAKING: Body of Man Reported Missing in Hoboken Recovered

The body of the 24-year-old man reported missing Saturday has been recovered in the Hackensack River in Jersey City.

Authorities ensued a search for Genovese after he failed to arrive to his Wall Street job.

However, shortly after the body of Genovese was pulled from Hudson River in Hoboken, close to where a wallet was found in the snow.

There appear to be no visible sign of trauma and no sign of foul play, police said.

Yesterday police asked for the public's help in locating Matthew who was described as Caucasian/Italian male, approximately 5 feet, 3’ tall and weighs about 150 pounds.

According to reports, he was last seen by friends leaving McSwiggan’s Pub between 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Saturday night (Jan.23). According to friends, Matthew told them he was walking home, which is only a ten minute walk up the street. No one had seen or heard from Matthew since.

Police continue to investigate.
