There are life-threatening injuries reported for victims of a crash that has I-78 shut down at this time in Berkeley Heights New Jersey.
According to preliminary reports, the crash happened in the westbound lanes near mile marker 44 where a truck collided with a car causing the dump truck to land on top of the car.
There were trapped occupants inside the car suffering “life-threatening” injuries according to reports.
There are a host of emergency responders on the scene so expect massive delays on the highway.
UPDATE: Authorities have confirmed that one person has died in the accident, but no additional details were available at this time.
