Firefighters are on the scene of a 5-alarm fire that’s tearing through several buildings in Bayonne at this time.
Crews were called to the 80’s block of Andrews Street for a fire inside a two-story wood framed house just after noon today.
Upon arrival, firefighters observed massive flames tearing through the house and extending to at least two other homes according to fire officials.
Crews have several lines stretched to extinguish the blaze while they make their way into the structures to check for trapped and injured occupants.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
