Somerset County authorities reported the arrest of Mr. Carlos B. Deleon-Sis, 42, of Bound Brook, in relation to a sexual assault of a minor that occurred in Bound Brook.
Acting Prosecutor Taggart stated that on March 17, 2022, the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office received information that a 14-year-old victim was alleging that she was sexually assaulted in the borough of Bound Brook.
The 14-year-old female was interviewed by a detective from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Sex Crimes/Child Abuse Unit and the Bound Brook Police Department.
Somerset County official said the 14-year-old victim stated that she was sexually assaulted by Carlos B. Deleon-Sis numerous times between June 2021 and February 2022 in Bound Brook.
Detectives investigated the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Sex Crimes/Child Abuse Unit and detectives from the Bound Brook Police Department.
On April 6, 2022, as a result of this investigation, Defendant Deleon-Sis was arrested without incident and charged with 2nd degree, Sexual Assault, 3rd degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Minor, 4th degree, Criminal Sexual Contact. Defendant Deleon-Sis was lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing.
