Students and staff of iPrep Academy School No. 8 were temporarily relocated to heated classrooms following a boiler malfunction.
According to a statement released by school officials following the malfunction:
“A boiler providing heat to part of iPrep Academy School No. 8 malfunctioned this morning, which required students to be temporarily relocated to heated classrooms within School No. 8 that were unaffected by the malfunction.
The boiler has since been restored to operation and students have returned to their classrooms to resume school day activities.”
The cause of the malfunction was not immediately provided.
