Body of Unidentified Woman Pulled from Housing Development in Newark

Police officials in Newark are reporting that police requests the public’s assistance in identifying a female who was discovered deceased near 120 Center Street, the Seth Boyden Housing Complex, today.

Police say the decedent, described as a heavy-set black female, was found with no identification or personal property on her.

According to police, the woman wore a white long-sleeved shirt, red pajamas with white polka dots.

Police say the deceased had two tattoos on her upper chest. One is a rose with a banner with the word love and the name “Lil Mike” under it. The other is cherries with the name “Renee” under it.

Police seek the woman’s identity to notify her next of kin. There are no reports of foul play at this time.
