Emergency responders and rescue crews recovered the remains of an unidentified person found floating in the waters of the Ortley Cove Wednesday morning.
According to preliminary reports, police were notified of the floater in the vicinity of 1919 Ocean Bay at around 7:30 a.m.
The body was recovered then turned over to the State Regional Medical Examiner for an official cause of death.
There are no immediate reports of foul play at this time.
