Firefighters and rescue crews recovered the body of an unidentified person floating in a lake in Middlesex County Sunday morning.
At approximately 10:25 a.m., police were dispatched to Thompson Park after they learned of a body in the Manalapan River in Jamesburg.
Cres arrived and spotted the body, then recovered the individual's remains.
The State Regional Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause for the person.
No foul play has been immediately reported by authorities at this time.
