The Bogota Police Department has confirmed that the body recovered Monday from the Hackensack is that of 26-year-old Sylvia Lubak.
Emergency personnel Sunday morning responded to the Hackensack River where authorities could be seen in the river. Police ultimately pulled Lubak’s body from Snake River around 1 p.m. Monday.
It remains unclear how the body ended up in the river.
Officials continue to investigate incident.
According to police, Lubak, had been missing since Dec. 16th.
