Police recovered the body of a 61-year-old man behind the municipal library in Maplewood early this morning.
The body was found lying in the creek behind the library sometime around 8 a.m., prompting officials to closed the library during the morning hours.
A spokesperson for the Essex County Prosecutor's Office could not confirm an investigation by their office and referred all questions to the Maplewood Police Department.
The incident is not reported to be suspicious.
