There is an active investigation underway in a park in Roselle after authorities recovered the body of an Elizabeth man this afternoon.
Police responded to suspicious activities at Warinanco Park just before 2 p.m., where they discovered the body of a man in his 50's inside the pond.
According to reports, a man operating a boat on the pound spotted the body then called the police.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
