HAMILTON TWP: The Hamilton Police Division and the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office crash investigation unit is looking into an incident where a bicyclist was struck by a garbage truck Thursday afternoon.
According to police, the accident happened shortly before 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of South Olden Ave and Arena Drive.
Police say the truck collided with the bicyclist causing serious injuries.
According to police, the victim was transported to the hospital, where doctors began treating a severe leg injury.
The drive of the truck stayed at the scene, according to police.
