Authorities in Hudson County are investigating a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a bicyclist on Wednesday.
According to West New York Police, at approximately 12:23 p.m., the department was notified of an electric bicyclist struck in the area of 50th Street and Bergenline Avenue.
Police say responding officers located a 33-year-old North Bergen woman with serious injuries.
She was transported to Jersey City Medical Center, where she is being treated for injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
The striking vehicle did not remain at the scene.
A car of interest has since been found.
