Police in Bergen County are investigating a stabbing incident that injured a person in Lyndhurst Monday night.
It happened around 8:30 p.m. at an address in the 500 block of 6th Avenue.
Police responded and found a person suffering a severe stab injury to their chest at that location.
The unidentified person was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center for treatment and remained in serious condition.
Police believe the person stabbed themselves but have continued investigating the incident.
No other injuries were reported at the address.
